Managing the AMASS File System

Initial File System
Step 1. See the following figure, which illustrates an initial
file system. All directories and files are in volume
group number 0, which is the default volume group.
Assign New Directory to Volume Group Two
Step 2. Log in as either amass or root.
Step 3. Create an amass_nt directory under
/archive/projects.
Step 4. Enter the following to assign the
/archive/projects/amass_nt directory to
volume group 2.
/archive
